So, I decided to update this thang...

what's new with me? let me just say a lot has happened in the last year. I can't believe I'm about to begin my Sophomore year at Providence College in like 2 weeks!! I'm so excited-- I'm looking forward to it ALL. The people, my friends that I haven't seen all summerlong, dorm living ( I really do miss it) and the business that will soon take over my life.  Back to writing in that agenda and setting the cell phone reminders. 

Summmma has been alright, but once you come back home from being away at college, you soon realize that ya kinda need to go back, like after a month of being in duxbury. The waitressing thing this summer has been AMAZING in terms of making money-- but if you wanna talk about parents who can't manage their children, old folk who have sticks up their asses, and young kids who don't know how to tip, well then I have a few stories for you! Everyday, I meet a whole bunch of people, some are great, some not so great- in fact horrible. But my co-workers are the shits- I LOVE THEM. They are what keeps me going on those doubles. Do you ever realize all the drama that goes on in a Restaurant Business? Managers dating eachother, and then some.... waitresses  sleeping with the cooks, people being fired- just like that, in a blink of an eye, & how the managers eat food right off the plates that are about to be taken out to the dining rooom!!! GROSS. I see alot, but I don't really give a dog's ass to say anything. It's only a summer job. Just get the money and leave.

I miss my key players at PC:

(disclaimer: this is sorta like one of those obnoxious, exclusive shout out lists that are totally rude and can really hurt a person if they're not on it but I'm doing it anyways, b/c I've never really done one before.)

1. My partner in crime. Nicole Audette. She and I are like the same person, except one's Chinese, the other- Syrian. But what can I say, she and I are going to the 50 concert next week-- and this will be great in prepping us for when we get back to PC.  She is gonna be my "4th roommate" because I really think Meagher is still too far away ( across the quad, I know) but we had it GOOD last year when she lived the floor above me. Nic is nothing like my friends from dux.  I really can say she is a true friend of mine and that she does genuinely care about me  

2. My Mister. Pat Carney. Alright, we've only been able to see eachother 7 times over the course of this summer. that's it! we will be going from one extreme to the next-- cause when we get back to PC, we'll be living in the same building, just 1 floor away from eachother. And somehow, we ended up in the same CIV class, so I'll see his bright smile 5 times a week in the early AM. Maybe a little PATAJ overload, we'll see. but I do miss him a ton.  I know there's no telling with the two of us... but I think we've both learned a whole lot in the past year. As dave matthews puts it, "we were so much younger, hard to explain that we are stronger..."

3. My Aquinas 309 Ladies. Becky and Sarah. ohhhh shiiiit! our triple is going to be amazing this year, and I can't wait, ladies... now these 2 lived together last year, and now I'm moving in.  Will I be a disturbance, or will I bring something to the table? I guess we'll have to see, but I think we're gonna do just fine. Sarah and I are known to have these laughing fits whenever we're together, and Becky is the most chill girl I've ever met. sounds good to me!

4. My Asian Co-Secksy. Karen Mercado. She is the other Asian @ PC in our grade, and when together-- Lethal. Oh and not to mention we'll be living on the same floor next year!! She and I are Co- secretaries for the Asian American Associaton at PC for '05-'06. we have a totally chilllll exec- board this year with Tiff, Ahna, George, Karen and myself-- I think we can really make a name for ourselves as we WILL recruit a bunch of asian '09ers this fall. and to all those asians on campus who think they are wayyy to cooool to be in the club b/c they think they are white, w/e. Karen has taught me to be strong and to be sexy.  I miss her-- but soon we'll be together again.

5. One of the Original Five. Meg Nash.  She has always been the sweeeeeetest girl you'll ever meet. I always tell her that her voice is so soothing.  We met on the Freshman Trip to Newport and how we discussed our GAS issues while riding on the back of a school bus.  haha, did I tell you that Meg and I tanned on the top of the parking garage at the South shore plaza once this summer.... shaddddy!! I feel like Meg is always the responsible one in the bunch, but I will never forget that time when she came into Ray cafeteria with her Rugby team all dressed like the Incredibles and TOTALLY wasted! haha-- that's when I got to sit back and enjoy silliness 

6. Double B's. BMSA & BOP.  everyone who is a part of these organizations-- totally awesome people. You guys definitely know how to party and have a good time. Being a part of these B's has been quite a journey so far! I can't wait to get our events into action and bring a ton of fun to PC. President Polyana De Oliveira and Sarah Mayorga-- you guys rock. ( notice how they are both females ) that's what i'm talkin about.

Just 7 more days of work and 17 more days till MOVE IN.

108 lb to 122 lb...... freshman 14, baby =) it's alright though, I fit my pants better and am finally growing into my womanly curvacious body like every girl should be.

wow, I have not used this xanga topanga in so long... I guess you can blame that on college and the like.  I'm on Christmas break right now... just 2 more days till I'm on that plane to mexico.  There, I can escape from these wintery sites I see, and the crispy air I feel.  This is like the 1st vacation I've been on in forever that I'll get to so amazingly enjoy with my soul sister Sharlene, aka- Kimbery Robin Dong.  We're gonna lie on the beach all day, and party/dance/get our drink on all night long.  We also plan on visiting Cozumel, Chichen Itza, and Tulum with our asian + 1 caucasian parents. Did I mention Kimmy and I get our own room with an ocean view? The caribbean sea will look like 1,000 diamonds strewn across a blue blanket. (thank, you Incubus) I'm also looking forward to coming back with a tan. yeah, i'm in the weirdest mood right now, I'm usually not this sassy. trust me.

Other than warm sand and tasty island drinks, I would like to recap for you my first semester at Providence, in no particular order...

urban action, newport trip, food poisoning, waterfire..., keystone ice, midnight madness, dance team tryouts, show me your cans, schezhuan linguine, body chem at brown, first snow!!, PTizzle, the girl that peed on Maureen's chair, Group C, Sox, my favorite shower stall discovered- twice, survivin CIV, twisted pleasure, world series, buff chx wrap, the Goonies, rockstars and groupies, li li wok, booting in shopping bags, brad??, spicegirls, facebook, Ultra, PC pals, boxed wine parties, ocean's 12 night, In Gomes We Trust, 1st game of ruit?!, golden crust, bacardi razz/ rasberry stoli, a Christmas Carol, Brad's, dan da man??, BREWWW, *sex on the beach*, forever 21, balfour-representin, frisbee on the quad, tempted to touch, let's go FRIARS, a sexy league of nations, oye mi canto, chilling w/ a bunch of crocheting nanny's, Holly Dodge, the Biltmore, Aquinas Times, underneath the mistletoe, slavin runs, GREG Sandwich, double date sleepover in 417...

and it's only just begun.
